SYRIA: YET 2 BE DISCOVEREDSome would say that the Syrian Arab Republic is stuck in time. After all, Coca Cola, McDonalds and thousands of tourists are nowhere to be found. With thousands of years of history, Syria has a lot of culture and tradition. Since this Arab republic has been ignored by the western world for so long, this culture and tradition still thrives. Since leaving Syria, we have discovered that their powerful leader, Hafez al-Assad, has died and his son has taken over power of the country. These major events will mean change in Syria. What kind of change...we do not know.
