Following our brief stay in Nicaragua, we continued south to Costa Rica. A country known for its emphasis on eco-tourism, and the most heavily touristed country in Central America, we were looking forward to getting to know its land, people, and wildlife . With our limited time, we focused on the northern part of the country, enjoying the cloud forest of Monteverde, Volcan Arenal, the world's most active volcano, and the Pacific beaches of Montezuma, Playa Grande, and Tamarindo.
